Lunch and Learn Summer Series 2024

Lunch and Learn Summer Series 2024

May 08, 2024

Beginning next Tuesday, we will be hosting “lunch and learns” on the second Tuesday of May, June and July.  They will take place at the McIver’s Grant Public Library in downtown Dyersburg beginning at 12:00 noon and promptly ending by 12:50 PM.  This series is designed for our guests to get a quick bite to eat while learning about a topic that we have most recently had an up-tick in requests for information.  Here is a brief description of each.

May 14th – "The High Cost of Long Term Care" Learn what long-term care is and how to protect your assets from the high cost while maintaining independence and choosing the care you want. We will discuss Medicaid, Medicare, Medi-gap Insurance, longterm care insurance and paying out of pocket. Despite the topic, this seminar is for individuals of all ages and financial status. You will learn why at the luncheon!

June 11th – "Four Strategies for Charitable Giving" If you are charitably inclined, learn about charitable giving strategies that maximize the benefits to your charity of choice AND you. Learn about various ways to leave a legacy and giving long after you are gone. We will discuss the ability of giving "anonymously". Lastly, learn about the “Swiss Army knife” of charitable giving. All four strategies are simple but definitely out of the box and effective.  Local Certified Public Accountant, Joe Enoch, will be our co-speaker.

July 9th – "The Election and Your Money" Who our President and Congress are can affect the economy and your investments. Chad will provide a history lesson on how elections have affected the stock market and give his personal opinion on the current state of the economy as well as election "what if's".

If you would like to attend one or more of these events, please reach out to Kim to reserve your seat(s) and feel free to invite a friend or family member.  Seating is very limited so please call today.
