Charitable Giving Lunch and Learn

Charitable Giving Lunch and Learn

June 03, 2024

I often meet with individuals and families that recognize the people and institutions that influenced them, molded them or who's cause they deeply believe in.  Many times, they want to help and a charitable gift is made.  It may be a one time gift or a systematic gift.  It could be a gift of cash, a car, clothes, a piece of land or even a stock that they bought many years ago.  They may want their mother's name on a building or they may want to give anonymously.  They may seek a large tax deduction or their desire to give is out of pure gratitude or belief in the cause.  Regardless, a plan is often warranted.  Charitable giving, as simple as it may sound, can be complex.

Next Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, we will present four charitable giving strategies that anyone can use to maximize the gift for both the charity and the donor.  We will take what may seem to be complex strategies and boil them down to easy to understand concepts.  The luncheon will be held at the McGivers Grant Public Library in Dyersburg from 12:00 to 1:00.  The presentation will last roughly forty five minutes and lunch will be provided.  Space is VERY limited, so please reserve your seat today by calling the office at 731-285-0097.

If you are charitably inclined or you work in soliciting donations for a charity, this will be a good use of your time.  If you can not make the event but have questions about charitable giving strategies, please call the office for your personal and confidential meeting.
